My second Anouk from the spring 2004 Knitty.com. Knit in Cascade Pima Tencel in teal, grass green, and lilac. I finished just in time for my niece's 1st birthday. I wasn't entirely happy with my intarsia effort, but not too bad overall. I love the color scheme, but not 100% happy with the white flowers. I found a few glitches witht he pattern that I will add to these notes as soon as I have the pattern in front of me again.
Anouk is such an easy, quick project I can't recomend it enough. It was a huge hit at the birthday party with the pair of patterned tights I found to go with it.
Art Nouveau poncho from www.stitchdiva.com. This one is a present for one of my best friends. (Mine is still sitting on the needles waiting to be finished.
I can't say enough good things about this pattern. Very easy and looks great.
Charlotte's web shawl in a colorway put together for me by Matt at Threadbear Fiberarts Studio. This was my first attempt at knit lace. The pattern was fairly simple to follow, and it knit easily (with the help of many stitch markers!). Definately a project I want to repeat in a different colorway. Cast off needs to be done very loosely. I lost a bit of size with this Charlotte as my cast off edge was a bit too tight

This was my first sweater/garment and was overall pleased with the finished result. (It fit!) If I were to knit this project again I would like to add some short row shaping, as I found the shell "hung" a bit. A yarn with a bit more elasticity may help as well. Overall I liked it though and would recomend as a good first project. A step up from scarves without being difficult.
Unique Baby Poncho pattern from Mission Falls. Knit with Mission Falls Cotton in the following colors: Sea (#402), Fennel (#301), Fog (#400), Phlox (#405) and Jade (#303).
Total knit time was about 3 weeks. Very easy to knit, and the Mission Falls colors are very striking. Hopefully the recipient and his mom will like it just as much.
